Prayer Changes Our Perspective
“If I can,” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for him who believes.”
Mark 9:23
Not only do our circumstances change when we pray, but our perspectives do as well.
How we see whatever it is we’re experiencing greatly affects our thoughts, our emotions, and often the actions we choose to take.
Our view and perspective of what it is we’re going through is the filter through which our feelings and beliefs flow.
Do we see the “light at the end of the tunnel” or do we just see the potential for danger, trouble and possibly disaster?
When we come before the Lord in prayer we take our eyes off our situation with all its potential for calamity, and put them on God and his working power.
A situation may be screaming out “there is no hope” but nothing is beyond hope for God.
No situation is beyond his redeeming power.
Nothing is impossible for him, nothing!
What if you prayed?
It doesn’t matter what has brought you to this moment, when you come before God in prayer that makes all the difference because he makes all the difference.
Prayer changes everything because God changes everything.
