Changing your past

Agathon, an Athenian poet wrote “Even God cannot change the past.”

The truth is only God can change the past.

There is nothing God cannot do. Absolutely nothing!

Let me remind you of how God has worked to change the impossible into the possible.

• There was no earth until God spoke it into existence.
• He created night and day; the moon and the sun. And there was light.
• He created both the seas and the dry ground.
• He created every animal, every bird of the air and every fish of the sea.
• While Man was made from dust, woman was made from the rib of that man.
• And God created them all.

When scripture reads that nothing is impossible with God I take that literally. There is nothing God cannot do. No prayer cried out to our Lord is ever beyond hope.

No situation is so dire that he cannot work his grace and might in a powerful and life changing way. Nothing you’re facing today is beyond his touch.

What if you prayed to the God who changes the impossible into the possible?

What if you stepped out in faith today and believed God to work when life is screaming for you to give in and give up?

What if you began an impossible prayer by remembering whom it is you’re praying to; the creator of the universe and the God of the impossible?

We might not understand how God works but we don’t need to.

All we need to know is that he is God. And that he does work.

You might not see the possibility of a good ending for whatever you’re facing. It may seem pointless to even call out in prayer; that there’s no possible hope. But God can do this. Put your trust in him. Fix your eyes on him.

He can heal. He can restore. He can mend the broken.

And yes, he can even change the past.

Nothing is impossible with God.
